We just heard from the coroners office.
Tyler had a pulmonary embolism ( Pulmonary embolism is the sudden blockage of a major blood vessel (artery) in the lung, usually by a blood clot. In most cases, the clots are small and are not deadly, but they can damage the lung. But if the clot is large and stops blood flow to the lung)

His death was instant,no symptoms, the coroner said sometimes they just develop.

He also said their was no evidence of disease (Hodgkins)

Hi Kelly. I have such a heavy heart these past few days thinking about you and Tyler. I watched his graduation video, he seemed very well liked. I am sure you are so proud of the person he was. God bless your family. Much love, Maureen from the forum

Ms. Kelly,
I am jam's daughter from the forum. I know I don't know you, but when my mother told me of Tyler's passing I just wanted you to know your family is in our hearts. I am doing a bike ride in Tahoe this summer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I will be wearing a wristband with a list of the people I am riding in honor and memory of. Know that Tyler's name will be on that wristband and you will continue to be in my prayers. I am sorry for your loss.

To fight as hard as Tyler fought and finally be free of disease, only to be taken by a blood clot?! Unfair doesn't even begin to cover this! I am at a loss, my heart breaks for you and my thoughts are with you. I am so very sorry.

My family's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during your grief. Your son was loved by many and touched the lives of every person he met especially me. The past few years I have admired how strong your son and your family has been through all of this, Tyler's positive attitude and passion for life was such a gift for me as a person, you and your family's positive attitude through this terrible disease also showed me that the love and support of your family is also a gift from God. Tyler was a special gift from God and he will never be forgotten, he and his family is an inspiration to everyone. May God Bless and heal your aching hearts.
